As a former Executive Director and now Principal Consultant at Smaltimore Consulting, I partner with nonprofits, foundations, and leadership teams of all sizes to stabilize operations, strengthen boards, develop strategic plans, and build development departments from the ground up. I’m often called in during moments of growth, restructuring, or cultural change, and I thrive at those inflection points.
Known for relational leadership and steady execution, I’ve led multimillion-dollar capital campaigns, launched first-time development functions, and guided both grassroots initiatives and statewide coalitions toward transformational outcomes. My work spans community development, education, human services, behavioral health, and health equity.
I bring a cross-sector perspective shaped by experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit arenas. Currently, I serve as an Advisor with the T. Rowe Price Foundation Brain Trust (via Baltimore Corps) and with The Support Center for Nonprofit Management’s Executive Director Leadership Institute in New York, where I offer strategic insight and peer coaching to nonprofit leaders.
