With 25+ years of experience leading and advising mission-driven organizations, I help nonprofits navigate transitions, build resilient teams, and unlock sustainable growth.
As a former Executive Director and now Principal Consultant at Smaltimore Consulting, I partner with nonprofits, foundations, and leadership teams of all sizes to stabilize operations, strengthen boards, develop strategic plans, and build development departments from the ground up. I’m often called in during moments of growth, restructuring, or cultural change, and I thrive at those inflection points.
Known for relational leadership and steady execution, I’ve led multimillion-dollar capital campaigns, launched first-time development functions, and guided both grassroots initiatives and statewide coalitions toward transformational outcomes. My work spans community development, education, human services, behavioral health, and health equity.
I bring a cross-sector perspective shaped by experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit arenas. Currently, I serve as an Advisor with the T. Rowe Price Foundation Brain Trust (via Baltimore Corps) and with The Support Center for Nonprofit Management’s Executive Director Leadership Institute in New York, where I offer strategic insight and peer coaching to nonprofit leaders.

As Executive Director of St. Francis Neighborhood Center in Baltimore, I’ve had the privilege of driving strategic initiatives that expanded educational programming, stabilized operations, and deepened community trust.
My leadership is grounded in a passion for equity, access, and sustainable impact. I’ve led multimillion-dollar capital campaigns, managed complex grants, forged dynamic partnerships, and navigated everything from pandemic pivots to major construction projects. Whether I’m negotiating contracts, developing inclusive programs, or coaching emerging leaders, I believe in the power of thoughtful strategy and collaborative action.
Before entering the nonprofit space, I held leadership roles in healthcare and hospitality, giving me a cross-sector perspective that blends operational rigor with a service mindset. I also co-founded Smalltimore Events, where I continue to combine creativity and community through intentional event design.
